Monthly Tests to be introduced in Haryana Govt. Schools

Very soon, Haryana govt schools will be featuring monthly tests for students. Directorate of school education is keeping close eye on it and has started rolling out monthly tests for students for class 1st to 8th to monitor the knowledge and performance. This new policy should bring very positive changes.

As per " Right to Education 2010 ", no students can be retained on basis of poor marks he / she scored. So it was hard to calculate performance of student on basis of annually tests. That's why the govt came up with this bright initiative. Regular exams have been discontinued in most of the Govt. schools in Haryana.

Apart from this news, Gita will be included in syllabus of these schools as per Haryana Govt. orders. Once Senior Officer involved in this scheme told the media that the scheme has been started on trial basis and within short span of time, it will be officially integrated. After April 2015, these tests will be part of every govt. school in the state.

Haryana Govt. Schools News Update

A senior official of Haryana State Council of Educational Research and Training told that we will provide questions and answer keys to schools and as per their requirement, they can design the paper to measure the performance of students. To create a competition with own chain of schools, govt. has asked each school to upload the test results online.

Directorate must be notified by the schools about students who scores poor marks in these monthly tests. However students won't be tagged as failed on basis of these exams. At that time Govt. Schools in Haryana state are being hated by parents and standard of education in these schools has gone all time low.

Guest Teachers are busy in " bandhs " and " dharnas " to get their seat confirmed for lifetime while other teachers keep chanting about issues. New JBT teachers are still looking to get positioned. So overall, Haryana state govt. schools aren't having any good education at all. Hope such type of initiatives will bring a change.
