Uttar Pradesh Public service commission has recently come out with a notification for the recruitment of stenographers in various government offices and sub ordinates and those who have passed their graduation from recognized university or equivalent are eligible to apply for the post. Eligibility criteria for the candidates:

All those who have passed class 12th/ intermediate or higher education from a recognized university or equivalent are eligible to apply for stenographers post. Candidates need to have a degree in computer application from DOEACC institute or any other institute.

Also the candidates must have the speed of 80WPM in shorthand and 25 WPM in the typing speed. Typing speed should be calculated on computers only.

Candidates age must not be more than 40 years for this post and those form the reserved categories will be given exemption in the upper age limit.
